Durability & Performance — The GWIN Advantage

Built Like A Tank

At GWIN, we know your HVAC system has to stand the test of time, the elements, and real-world conditions. That’s why we incorporate premium engineering features usually reserved for commercial units — and deliver them in our DIY-friendly design.

Weather-resistant control board

Our system features a vertically mounted circuit board that’s not just mounted differently—it’s pre-coated for protection and oriented to shed moisture and resist corrosion. In other words, the PCBs inside a GWIN unit are built from the ground up to fight the weather.

Wide-range input voltage capability

Power fluctuations and low‐voltage conditions happen, especially in older homes, rural settings or during storms. GWIN systems tolerate variable input voltage (e.g., 165 V to 265 V) — so your system starts reliably, stays stable, and avoids common failure points tied to over/under voltage.

Low-voltage startup resilience

Many units struggle under low‐voltage startup conditions—leading to failed compressors, safety trips, or shorter lifespan. GWIN addresses this by designing for rugged startup spans and safeguarding against weak power draws, so you get consistent performance even when the conditions aren’t perfect.

Result: A system that lasts

What you get is more than just a “DIY-friendly” system. You get one that stands up like a high-end pro-install unit — with the confidence that your investment won’t falter when the power dips, the weather pushes limits, or years of use start to challenge lesser equipment.
