GWIN was built on a simple idea: homeowners should be able to install their own HVAC system without being left on their own. So we put a licensed HVAC technician in every system, backed it with a bumper-to-bumper warranty, and guaranteed parts and the compressor for a full decade.

How it started

We saw what was missing.in DIY HVAC. So we built it.

Before GWIN, we spent years inside the DIY HVAC industry. We saw what customers loved — lower costs, flexibility, the freedom to install their own system. We also saw the gaps that left homeowners frustrated long after the sale.

That's why we started offering exclusive labor and refrigerant warranty programs years before GWIN was a brand. We believed homeowners deserved more protection and a better long-term experience. Over time, one thing became undeniable:

If we could combine high-quality equipment with real technical support, we could take DIY HVAC to an entirely new level. That idea became GWIN.

We built GWIN around a simple belief: homeowners should be able to install their own HVAC system without being left on their own. That's why we brought the tech back into the process — from properly sized line sets, to Easy Connect flare-less fittings, to startup verification, to support that lasts a full decade.

If we can't place a licensed tech with you within 30 days of your readiness — for any reason — you get a full refund and keep the equipment. We've never failed to place a tech.

Bumper-to-bumper warranty

Year 1 covers everything. 10 years on parts and the compressor.

The only DIY ductless brand offering a real bumper-to-bumper warranty on a homeowner self-install. Year 1 covers parts, labor, refrigerant, and shipping damage. If the compressor fails in year 1, we ship a new condenser AND pay the tech to replace it. Then 10 years on parts and the compressor, with free parts shipping. Transfers automatically if you sell your home.
