Who actually shows up at your install — and who reviews everything we publish.
Every GWIN system is installed with help from a licensed HVAC technician, and every page we publish is reviewed by a state-licensed contractor. No exceptions, no upsells. Here's who's on the network, how we vet them, and how you can use your own tech if you have one.
Meet George Cervino. Licensed reviewer behind every page.
Every page we publish goes through a licensed HVAC contractor before it goes live. That contractor is George — and you can verify his license with the state of Tennessee.
George Cervino is a Tennessee-licensed HVAC contractor and the founder of Cervino Heating & Air, LLC, based in Antioch, Tennessee and serving the greater Nashville area. He reviews GWIN's technical content — installation guidance, refrigerant handling, electrical requirements, BTU sizing — for accuracy before publication.
With extensive residential and light-commercial HVAC experience, George ensures GWIN's published guidance reflects real-world install conditions and current code.

Local. Drive. Fly. Refund. Keep the equipment.
GWIN™ has a tech for every install. If your area has a vetted local tech, they're dispatched. If not, GWIN™ drives or flies one in. If we can't place a licensed tech within 30 days of your install being ready, you get a full refund — and you keep the equipment. GWIN™ has never failed to place a tech.
GWIN™ sends the tech. Already have one? We make that work too.
Every GWIN™ system includes a licensed HVAC technician — placed, verified, and dispatched by us. If you already have a trusted HVAC contractor you'd rather use, we can verify them against the same 5-point standard and bring them onto your install.
How GWIN™ dispatches your tech
The included tech path. No extra cost, no third-party scheduling. Three steps, end to end.
- Order your system — ships next day, delivered in 3–7 days.
- Schedule your tech once your install is ready.
- Tech arrives, commissions the system, sends photos, and full warranty engages.
If you already have a tech
For customers who already have a trusted HVAC contractor and want to use them. Same standard, same warranty.
- Tell us about your tech (name, license info, contact).
- GWIN™ verifies them against the same 5-point standard.
- If approved, they join your install.
- You stay covered under full GWIN™ warranty.
If your tech doesn't pass verification, GWIN™ places one of our network techs at no extra cost.
Note: The 30-day Tech Guarantee window begins once GWIN™ confirms your tech can't be verified — not from the date you submitted them.Common questions about GWIN™'s techs. Straight answers.
The questions GWIN™ customers ask most, with straight, accurate answers reviewed by our licensed HVAC technicians.
Do I really get a licensed HVAC technician with a GWIN™ system?
Yes. Every GWIN™ system includes a licensed HVAC technician — placed, vetted, and dispatched by us. The tech is included in the price, not an upsell.
What does GWIN™'s licensed technician actually do at my install?
The tech does the commissioning work: visually inspects all line and equipment connections, pressure tests for leaks, vacuums the lineset, verifies and charges the refrigerant, then runs the final commission and sends photos to register your system and engage your full warranty.
Can I use my own HVAC technician with a GWIN™ DIY install?
Yes. If you already have a trusted HVAC contractor, GWIN™ verifies them against the same 5-point standard (license, insurance, EPA 608 certification, 10+ mini split installs on record, clean reputation). If approved, they join your install and you stay covered under full GWIN™ warranty. If they don't pass, GWIN™ places one of our network techs at no extra cost.
How does GWIN™'s Tech Guarantee work?
If GWIN™ can't place a licensed tech within 30 days of your install being ready, you get a full refund — and you keep the equipment. GWIN™ has never failed to place a tech.
Who reviews the technical content on GWIN™'s site?
Every page is reviewed by George Cervino, a Tennessee-licensed HVAC contractor (TN State License #73776) and founder of Cervino Heating & Air, LLC. James Brown, GWIN™'s in-house EPA Section 608 certified technician, also reviews and helps create published content.
What if I have a question during my install — who do I call?
James Brown, GWIN™'s in-house technician, answers customer questions during installs. He's EPA Section 608 certified with hands-on install experience that informs every walkthrough. Call GWIN™ at (615) 538-7979 or schedule a consult through Calendly.
Does GWIN™ service all 50 states?
GWIN™ ships and services the 48 contiguous US states. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded, as are any areas within the 48 states that can only be reached by water (such as offshore islands).
What's the difference between GWIN™'s tech network and a regular HVAC contractor?
Every tech in GWIN™'s network passes the same 5-point verification standard, regardless of whether they're a GWIN-dispatched tech or one a customer brings. That's the difference: a regular contractor's standards vary; GWIN™'s tech standard is one bar that every tech meets.
Build it. Install it. We commission it. Bumper-to-bumper.
Every GWIN™ system ships with a licensed HVAC technician included, a 30-day Tech Guarantee, and a 1-year bumper-to-bumper warranty backed by 10 years of parts shipped free to your door.
